how to just wipe a drive clean?

hi all, i have had a long sad time and lost a drive :'(

basically i have a drive in my array with a bunch of corrupted files, and a large 'lost+found' folder.

 

i really want to just 'format' the entire drive (not the array, just the one physical drive)

 

is there an easy way to do this?  it doesn't need a preclear, just a 'wipe' or format.

 

i realize i will lose the data on the drive and i'm fine with that.  ive researched but can't see how to do this?

    oops please ignore.  figured out how to delete the desired folder through putty
