Preclear the device simultaneously with these steps. I use a terminal window. Start the array. Go to the Main tab and look at the Device status. Click on the +++ link Expected results: Not sure Actual results: The link opens to a page with the LimetTech unRAID Server Plus header and the menu bar below it. It is blank below the menu bar. Other information: The unassigned devce section of the Device Status does display PreClear status Unassigned Device Identification Temp. October 5, 201411 yr Having the exact same issue here. Mine won't start the preclear either and shows no status under Device Status either. Did you find a way to move past this and allocate the disk?
October 6, 201411 yr Author I opened a terminal (attached a monitor and keyboard) and initiated the pre-clear. After it completed, I stopped the array and then could change drive settings. I'm not sure what the intent of the link is in the context of the defect.
