October 3, 201411 yr Somehow I am late to the party here. Is there a write up on how to properly set this up? I have the latest beta. Can I start in Xen/Unraid OS mode without losing the config I already have set up in the regular unraid OS?
October 3, 201411 yr Your post was a little vague. What do you want to "do" with v6. What "config" do you mean? Do you have plugins running in v5? You'll need to upgrade them to v6 equivalents as v6 is 64bit. There are tons of posts in the forum on this topic if you search. No response to your post probably because your post didn't provide enough information to warrant a response.

You have experts here at your disposal but without a response to the questions I asked, I am not sure what you are really looking for. You mention xen and KVM in your original post but don't mention what you want to use them for. We are here to help, but its a lot easier when your objectives are clearly stated so we know exactly what you are looking to do. Many others who have posted for guidance would include things like what plugins they are using and/or what VM features they want to leverage (basic VMs or advance capabilities like PCI pass through). Trying to help, but you didn't even respond to my questions in the last post.

I did a Xen guide for setting up a Windows 7 VM here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=34844.msg323835#msg323835 It should work fine for other Windows versions. I just used it for the Windows 10 tech preview.
