Sorry if this is a stupid question but i have owncloud running with mariadb but how do i have owncloud access my unraid shares and how do i have someone in another state access the files in the shares

You need to add a /mnt/user to your docker definition.  You can "map" that to /whateverYouWant (i.e.: /data).

 

Then, in Owncloud, you add the application "External Storage".  You will then be able to add your /data in that "External Storage" that you use "Local" as the external storage.

 

You can also create a user account for whoever you want to have access.  Obviously, you'll need a domain name / Dynamic DNS Name / Provide the IP of the server...

When I click on apps icon it just sits there spinning do I need to setup an apps directory somehow
