October 7, 201411 yr Hi, Has anyone experienced any issues installing the official/latest version of plex for unraid 6? i can't seem to get it to install properly. I placed the file in the boot/extra folder, i rebooted and i see the plex plugin in the settings tab, however when attempted to enable the server nothing happens. not sure what i'm doing wrong.

Have you tried using needos docker container equivalent?
October 8, 201411 yr Author i haven't yet..i figured since it was an official release from the plex team why not simply use that one.

I would recommend you to use phaze's plugin for plex. It makes things much easier.
October 8, 201411 yr Author thanks. i was originally using phase's plugin. again since its an official plugin from plex i wanted to check it out and wondering if i was installing it incorrectly or if others experienced the same thing. btw, i tried needos via docker and it worked fine too. tx
October 8, 201411 yr I've had a ton of problems with recent plex plugins and getting them to actually get the server started. Granted I'm on 5.0.5, but I decided to wipe my flash and start from scratch. I used PhaZes plug in this time and it loaded up the latest Plex Pass version with no issues. If you want to use the "official" plug-in make sure you're using the 64-bit version for UnRAID 6+, not the 32-bit one.
