johnieutah
Hi all, I would like to install a FLAC package on my Unraid server so that I can more easily test some audio files. Which resource do I need to download and pop in to my Go file? http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=flac Or is there a better resource? Many thanks. Quote Link to comment
WeeboTech
For unRAID 5 I believe this will do. Keep in mind you may have to resolve the supporting libraries. http://slackbuilds.org/mirror/slackware/slackware-current/slackware/ap/flac-1.2.1-i486-3.txz Source here: http://slackbuilds.org/mirror/slackware/slackware-current/source/ap/flac/ Quote Link to comment
johnieutah
Great thanks. I needed libogg too (which I found here http://pkgs.org/slackware-14.1/slackware-i486/libogg-1.3.0-i486-1.txz.html for anyone interested). Now just to stick them in my go script. Quote Link to comment
WeeboTech
I think you only need to drop them into the /boot/extra folder. Quote Link to comment
johnieutah
Really? I'm on Unraid 5 (stable release). I thought all packages needed to be configured through the go script? - admitedly it has been years since I've done any proper reading around on the latest Unraid developments... Thanks for the tip. WeeboTech
unRAID 4.5.5 If directory named 'extra' exists in root of Flash, invoke 'installpkg' on all files found there before invoking the 'go' script Quote Link to comment
