Using WMC and xbox 360's as extenders, can't see library

Featured Replies

I just got all of my media moved over to my new unRAID server, and went into Windows Media Center and removed the old library's, and added the new one's back in pointing to the unRAID shares.

The PC that's running WMC can browse them fine, but the xbox 360's are saying there's no media in the library.

I've read a few articles that suggested deleting the extenders in WMC and the library's and then rebuild the librarys and once it's completed rebuilding, then add the extenders back in, which I've done but still get the same results.

Was just curious if anyone else has had this issue and knows the fix.

running unRAID 5.05 Pro

WMC is a 64bit Win7 Ultimate machine.

Thanks

Looks like all I needed to do was rebuild the library's and instead of using a mapped drive, use the 3rd option of a share on another Device, which then allows you to include an AD UID/PW to authenticate to the RAID..
