I've seen many threads on this, but no definitive result.

 

I'm confident my settings are correct on the unRAID end of things.

 

SMB is on, Workgroup is titled "WORKGROUP" and matching punctuation on all devices.

 

Through windows explorer I can type

 

\\192.xxx.x.x

or

\\server name

 

and I will connect.

 

But I cannot detect the server without directly entering it's name.

 

Has there been any updated resolution to why this occurs?  I'm currently running unRAID 6, but the problem existed on 5 as well.

    3. Adjust your preference.
