I am getting a new mobo - Sabertoothx79 and was wondering if there is any particular sata controller I should use for particular drives.

 

I have:

1 x 6TB WD Red (Parity)

1 x 250GB Corsair SSD (Cache)

6 x 2TB WD Green (Data)

 

The boards has the following:

 

Intel X79 Express Chipset

2 x SATA 6Gb/s ports with RAID 0,1,5 and 10 support (brown)

4 x SATA 3Gb/s ports with RAID 0,1,5 and 10 support (black)

 

Marvell 9128 SATA controller

2 x SATA 6Gb/s ports (gray)

 

ASMedia 1061 SATA controller

1 x Power eSATA 6Gb/s port (green)

1 x eSATA 6Gb/s port

 

Should my Parity and Cache drive connect to the Intel X79 Express Chipset or the Marvell?
