October 17, 201411 yr Just and FYI for anyone using plex media server: the Plex Home Theater maintainer, and apparently a Plex "somebody" appears to be taking over PMS with a new package plex-media-server (compare with plexmediaserver) and is looking to move it to community after he gets an answer back from plex about binaray redistro. In either case though he's made some changes, for the better, and it will likely result in plexmediaserver being deprecated. As it is, plexmediaserver is now out of date and plex-media-server is current. Note: you'll have to move the location of your application support folder per the comments in the package wiki https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/plex-media-server/?comments=all UPDATE: Well actually it looks like plexmediaserver is gone completely now since last night and plex-media-server is the only one left. UPDATE2: There is also now a new wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Plex
