[FEATURE REQUEST]: Remove SpinDown timer when in Maintenance Mode

Featured Replies

Frequently drives need to receive long smart tests which require the drive to not spin down. Likely there are other situations than just a long smart test which will enjoy this feature?

 

Suggestion, remove the spindown timer or set it to "never" when the array is in maintenance mode. When the array is started normally, re-enable the previous spin down timer.
