[WTB] IBM ServeRAID M1015

Featured Replies

Dear All,

I'm wanting a buy a IBM ServeRAID M1015 (or Dell equivalent) that has a full height bracket (and ideally flashed to IT mode).

I currently have a AOC-SASLP-MV8 that is starting to play up and need to replace it before it dies.

I've seen a few of these on ebay but mainly coming from Hong Kong or China and i am wary they might be fake.

Unit will need to be shipped to Australia.

Let me know if you have one to sell.

ADZ

P.S If anyone knows a reliable ebay seller that would also be appreciated

How much are you willing to pay? I have a LSI 9211-8i flashed to IT.

Just so you know a M1015 is a rebranded LSI 9240-8i and a lsi 9211-8i is basically a 9240-8i with some raid functions removed.  I have bought a 9211-8i off of Amazon.com and it was a fake/stolen card.  I was able to return it and LSI informed me that they only warranty cards bought from authorized dealers, bricked card from flashing is covered under the warranty.  The only place on their list when I bought it for the US was newegg.  I would buy if from a dealer if you are worried about flashing it just for the reason it is covered und r the warranty.  Also their tech support was very helpful when I bricked my first fake card and when I got the new card from newegg they walked me through the process over the phone to make sure it went ok.
