btsync plugin drifting out of date / how to force image refreshes?

Featured Replies

The docker plugin listed here: https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/gfjardim/btsync/ appears to be drifting out of sync with the latest btsync builds - running it pops a notification that there is a new build available.

The URL listed in the docker manifest points to a newer version, but the image itself hasn't been rebuilt in a month.

Does the developer have to force a version increment to get a new image built? If so, can gfjardim do so? :)

Thanks,

Teman

Annoying to see the "Update banner" at the top of the BTSync :)

BTW, it work really great to sync 2 Unraid servers ! :)  I boot my 2nd Unraid Backup server Once a week with "Auto-Start" and BTSync on it and it sync pretty quickly the difference between the 2 servers.  With a Auto-Shutdown at the end, it would be even better, but I guess it's pretty good like it is already :D

Wondering about the same thing. Seems to be happening again.

Why can't you just update btsync when it asks? It's been a while since I have switched over to syncthing but I was pretty sure you were able to update btsync.

Didn't think you were meant to do in-container updates?

Now I've used SyncThing I wouldn't use BTSync, I think the OpenSource SyncThing is way easier to get working.
