Smart check

Featured Replies

Hello im running 5.0.6 and I have unmenu installed I just clicked on smart history and I got this error.

Sorry: cannot run smarthistory.

The /boot/smarthistory directory does not exist.

How do I correct this so I can keep track or make sure my drives are healthy without running full parity checks daily? I thought I could just login via windows and make the directory, but am not positive where to put it?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Smarthistory was a tool developed by bubbaq a long time ago. I am not sure if it is still working or supported.

It may be something that you install using unmenu's package manager.

If you wonder why writing so big on my screen is cause im legally blind and I have font set that large so I dont have to lower resolution.

The link is built in, the actual scripting and support isn't. See here. It still works fine as of 6.0beta6, and I don't know for sure, but I think most of the dependencies that are mentioned in that post are built in now, so all you need is the base zip file extracted to the appropriate folder.
