Backing up Cache Drive to Array

My cache drive holds my docker image, as well as my /appdata folder which houses the configs and db's for many things on my server. Would it be a good idea to backup the appdata folder and docker image to the array in case my cache drive fails? I would hate to lose all the work put into the server. What other alternatives are there to this?

    would like to know how to manage this too. :) I have a "backups" share on the array for other PCs to backup to. Would like to backup my docker installs on cache drive too.
