unIRC

Featured Replies

Since IRC has become wildly popular lately with people squatting in the channel waiting for release announcements, maybe it is time to incorporate a web-based IRC client into the unRAID GUI?

It could be made its own tab or part of a larger tab called "Support" or "Help".  If the latter, other info could also be contained within (i.e. wiki, support docs, etc).  I see this as a quick and clean way for users who are not familiar with IRC to be able to easily join #unraid.  The only real setting required is to supply a nickname.  Of course other things could be incorporated:  SSL, etc.

I guess it would just be a matter of whether this could be baked into the GUI or better handled via a plugin.
