November 15, 201411 yr I was wondering if it was possible to have a plug in play usb work with KVM? Maybe passthrough an entire USB hub and then just plug in the usb you want to use? Has there been any work in the KVM world on this? Not being able to just plug in a USB and go is one of the down sides to replacing my desktop with a VM. Also if I wanted to add an USB cable to the VM I have to shutdown the Windows VM then log into another computer to add the right lines of code (honestly it is just quicker to pull out the spare laptop and us that computer instead of put the code into the VM but who wants to do that each time???)
