Getting past the 2GB limit on DropBox

Featured Replies

I successfully installed Dropbox but I wonder if I´m not perhaps linking Dropbox app to the Unraid.  I cant get past the 2GB limit.  What could be wrong

I thought the free account is 2GB limit and it's +500MB for every user you get to sign up.

Unless you have a subscription account, then it's according to the subscription.

I got an extra 50gb when I bought a Samsung Galaxy s4

If that's anything like the deal with the S3, it's limited (it was 2 years with the S3)

It used to be you would have to jump through hoops to enable it.

Put it on a computer, invite a friend, enable on a mobile device.

That was a pain!

THis has nothing to do with devices!  It´s about the limitation of the service.  I thought that by running DB on Unraid you are not limited anymore

Pretty sure it's just a dropbox client, subject to all the benefits/limitations of dropbox. Perhaps what you want is bittorent sync/pulse/owncloud. No cloud limits there.

Finally an response in context.  :P

OK then, I guess DropBox on Unraid is NOT what I thought it would be - Unraid web server as THE cloud hosting Dropbox

Thanks
