joboears Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 I have a long standing issue that I need to resolve with my unRaid v4.7 Basic Server (MB:SuperMicro, CPU:AMD Opteron, RAM:2GB ECC, PSU: Corsair 430CX, HD:(3)2TB WDRed). The issue is every time I preform a parity check I receive > 50 new errors. This situation has forced me to change my workflow to include a two hour party check before each work session. I am concerned that if I do not performed the party check I will not be able to trust the integrity of my data. What steps should I take to troubleshoot the problem. Thanks for your help... JonathanM Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 Are they at the same location each time? Are you doing correcting checks? It only takes you 2 hours to do a full parity check? That seems really fast, even with only 3 2TB Reds. A full syslog from a session with 2 back to back parity checks would help diagnose the issue. Smart reports on all the drives could be helpful as well. Link to comment
