Drive Temperatures not showing up in unMenu

Featured Replies

As the subject suggests, I'm not seeing drive temperatures from unMenu, although they do show up from the official UI. Just wondering what has gone awry (on my end, obviously).

There has been a missing library file needed by the "smartctl" program for several releases.  It is included in the 4.5-beta3 release, but was missing in the 4.4 releases.

The supplied management console does not use "smartctl" to get the drive temperatures... The unMENU uses smartctl.  Since it does not work no temperatures are reported.

You can use the "Package Manager" plug-in of unMENU to download and install the cxxlibs-6.0.8-i486.tgz library accidentally left out of unRAID, or

you can upgrade to the current 4.5beta3 release and it should work for you as well.

(You will not be able to run any of the "smart" reports without the missing library either)

If you want to download ithe install package for the missing library by hand, you can follow this post: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=2595.msg25343#msg25343
