One drive unavailable over network

Featured Replies

Hello all,

So I was copying some files to my unRAID server when something went wrong. Apparently the disk I was writing to had a fault, I'm guessing because a cable got loose or something. The drive also disappeared from my listed devices in the webinterface.

After I repositioned the cables and rebooted, the drive was available again. I reassigned it and after that everything looks normal in the webinterface.

However, the disk is no longer available as a share. I have only one share set with all my drives in it.

Now when I open that share through Windows explorer I can browse through all my disks, except that particular one. It shows up, but I can't open it.

Through the webinterface I can approach it: if I click the little yellow icon next to it, I can browse through the disk and even open files.

So it seems that somehow this disk is no longer included in the share, but I cannot figure out how to fix it.

I have tried creating a new share, but that doesn't seem to work at all. It always stays empty..

Can someone please point me in the right direction for this?

I have looked at the wiki and the unofficial manual, but could not find my answer.

I am using version 5.0.6 and if I need to provide some logs or something, please let me know!

Regards,

Danny
