To me i had deja vu of both Google forgetting its "dont be evil" mantra and VMware becoming a behemoth.

We've been following CoreOS for some time.  This is actually really interesting to see from the CoreOS team since they support Docker today and this seems to be competitive alternative.  Regardless, this is a good thing because competition breeds innovation.  I think it'll be a little while before this becomes really useful/usable, but something we will be keeping our eye on for sure...
