December 2, 201411 yr Some how I told told it to delete 1 folder on a particular drive but it started deleting a bunch. Is there any way to undelete files/folders like in Windows?
December 2, 201411 yr I believe the short answer is 'no'. I'm sorry for your loss. I will keep my fingers crossed that a hero will come here and tell me I am wrong though.
December 2, 201411 yr I don't think there is. Just curious, what command did you type to delete a folder?
December 2, 201411 yr I don't think there is. Just curious, what command did you type to delete a folder? That's a good question. Typing 'history' should tell you what command you used.
December 2, 201411 yr Author From a windows machine, I just clicked the folder and pressed delete and I am real deliberate so doubt I intentionally clicked more than one. However, lately my PC will just stop responding for 20 or so seconds, then take off again. I've scanned it for viruses, etc and found nothing. But I have notices that sometimes during this limbo period, mouse drags and clicks happen as I move the mouse, etc, before I realize its in limbo, then things quickly catch up. That is the only thing I can think of.
December 3, 201411 yr Hopefully it's nothing that you couldn't get back. There is this but it's pretty involved and may not be worth the trouble. But you can begin to read here: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=FAQ#How_can_I_undelete_files_from_an_unRAID_disk.3F
