Would this be OK for a cache drive?  I have one that i'd like to use if possible but I don't want any slow downs. It's only 5400rpm.

    Speed is not going to be this drive's best characteristic.

    However, if you have it available, use it, test it, then determine if the speed meets your needs.

    Thanks. I'll check it out when I set up my box.  I guess I can always change it to something else if I end up not liking it.
