Unraid Server 5.0.6. The problem below is more frequent since upgrading from 4.5 (I think it was 4.5, but for sure it was 4. something) to 5.0.6.

 

I have been struggling with access to an Unraid server with my Windows 7 laptop through wireless.

 

Often, when I try to map a drive, it will not recognize the id and password. I have no idea what changes or what I do that makes it finally recognize it. I do typically disconnect the drive, and reestablish the mapping, and even then sometimes it fights me.

 

The other thing that is even more of a pain, is that even though I click the box  to remember credentials, I still get prompted for a password.

 

Any suggestions?
