Unclean unclean shutdown (power outage)

Hello!

 

When i came home today i noticed that my server was powered off. It was an power outage in my area due to heavy wind...

I booted the server and logged into the GUI. I than looked at my disk and everything was detected. When i clicked  [start]. to the start the array it displayed the message "unclean shutdown detected", and started a parity-check. it is running now.

 

My question is; if the parity-check doesnt find any errors, it should be safe to say that my files are intact, and there isnt any corruption? or do i need to run some other tests?

I've never encountered this before, and i have to say im looking to buy an UPS to prevent this in the future :P

 

Any information/help appreciated!
