Who closes these and should they be defects instead

Featured Replies

As topic. The topics need closed when patched but I do not have definitive information to do so on all uNRAID versions so it cant be me.

Who is going to mark these threads closed?

Also would security holes be better reported as defects rather than having its own forum?

I know this thread is old, but I just want you to know that you are not alone in wanting an answer to this question.  I see a lot of threads (or few threads every couple of months pop up here and then just die off without comment or being marked as [solved].

Additionally I think there is confusion among users because people are posting security concerns in forms like General Support, and other places.

I think it would be nice if this forum was better utilized and actively managed by someone at Lime-Technology or done away with and rolled into defect reports. Clearly this isn't working as intended.

It will be kept as a separate board.

There have been a couple Slackware security advisories since release of 6.0.0, which will be addressed asap.
