I did some searching on the forum to see if this is done yet.  I found this thread http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=662.0  My question is will this be possible or is it possible to do it now.  I'm familiar with Sun Solaris and being able to take multi nics and using them to create on big connection(use it to replace fiber connection at work since it's cheaper and just as efficent using 4 nics).  With UnRaid using one or two nics this could probably increase transfer speeds over a lan connection dramatically.  Has there been anymore thought about this?

I do not believe it is in the immediate plans, but many of us are looking forward to it.

Network Teaming or etherchannel is what it is called. Of course you will also need a compatible switch and pc on the other end.

 

 

 

oh okay that's coo hopefully there is something in the works with dd-wrt to support something like this
