Hopefully I posted this in the right topic, if  not Mod Please Move.

Excuse my Noobness when it comes to what controllers are compatible of, but does anybody know what the drive ceiling of the Adaptec RAID 3085 Controller is? I don't want to waste a bunch of money on a 6TB Drive, just to find out, that my controller won't support it.

    I believe the only limit is a 512TB array size.  Since it supports > 2TB disks, there shouldn't be any issues with 6TB, 8TB, or even larger drives.

    I appreciate that, that's what I was thinking, but couldn't find any documentation, that said exactly that, just that it supports > 2TB Drives. THANK YOU!
