(Solved) Network Card not Staying on During S3 Sleep

Featured Replies

this was previously working flawlessly on 5.05

now running the latest beta 6b12  i would say 1 in every 5 times the server wakes from sleep it is totally unresponsive.  No access via GUI, Telnet, SMB etc  only option is to power off and power on

Installation inlucdes Cache Dirs, Active Streams and S3 Sleep Plugins

Docker is installed with several containers installed sabnzbd, sickbeard, couchpotato, deluge, mariabd and xbmc-server.

Though i first observed this behaviour before installing any plugins

there is a syslog attached

Turns out i'd confused myself without realising it, my original issue after first boot up was that Wake on Lan was not working, given things were working fine previously i should've left it alone and moved on, but i changed one of my sleep settings in the BIOS and this was causing the problem when waking from lan.  I have since changed all settings in the BIOS back to the way they were but now Wake on Lan does not work. The computer successfully sleeps and wakes if i use the power button or keyboard to wake it, but the WoL packet is not working.  Looking at it closer it is because the network card is not being kept alive during S3 Sleep.

Is this an issue with my hardware or unRaid

motherboard is ASRock B75 Pro3-M Motherboard

Answered my own question.  Seems I changed a setting back to the wrong value.

Deep Sleep: needed to be set to S4 instead of S4 & S5.. Totally confusing
