December 21, 201411 yr Well, I guess the topic says it all! Before I discovered Unraid I had a (I think its fair to say) very reliable ReadyNas NV+. But I made the switch to an Unraid server and haven't looked back. Just moved house though and found the thing full of 2TB WD GREEN EARS disks - what to do with it? Its not really valid as back-up as my Unraid Array is 9TB and I am building a second Unraid Server as my backup. I think I am going to throw one of the 2TB drives into my Unraid server as my cache drive as the current 3TB Red performing that role is a bit of a waste of space. Any suggestions?
