December 23, 201411 yr Author final is released!!!! http://kodi.tv/kodi-14-0-helix-unwinds/ so far, not so good. trying to start helix with mysql settings in advancedsettings.xml and it won't start, it creates the databases and just sits there at the splash screen, left it for 10 minutes and it was still there. restarted it and then the splash screen just flickers on and off, take out advancedsettings.xml, reboot and it loads.

Does that mean you solved the issues listed here, or is this still an issue with the new Docker you built? the issues i was having was because i didn't delete the old gotham d/bases from my mysql and helix wouldn't start with them still here. once i deleted them (after backing up my library to nfo's of course) it started perfectly and i'm scanning back my library now.
December 23, 201411 yr Author need to redo my remote tweaks and wait for a better skin (was using aeon mq5 in gotham) the aeon nox in the default repo is awful...... but that's just my personal opinion.
December 23, 201411 yr Installed it to see how much had changed in past 12 months or so. Live TV quality is still appalling. Comparing Kodi and MediaPortal on the same machine connecting to the same ArgusTV Server, the TV picture is noticeably softer with weird colour pulsing on some channels. Would like to move back to Kodi for it's flexibility but until I can get a better TV picture, I'll have to wait. :-(

January 4, 201511 yr Author After a while of using kodi helix 14.0, all i can say is ugh, it's terrible. i can't watch tv anymore, it crashes anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes of playback of live tv or recorded programs. context menus decide every now and again they don't want to work the whole interface completely locks up when trying to access a playlist with more than 2 or 3 conditions in it.
