Procedure to enable cache pool

Featured Replies

I am up and running on 6 beta 12 with a few Dockers and I am very impressed. The Docker configuration is on the cache drive and I now wish to create a cache pool. The single 240GB cache drive is formatted as btrfs already and is working fine.

I have retired an old Windows machine and pulled the 256GB ssd from it. This new ssd is installed in the unraid server and currently shows in the Unassigned Devices tab with a blue ball.  It is currently formatted with a Windows filesystem which I no longer need.

The current cache drive is being used and I can't lose the data on it. The drop down showing the number of devices for cache only has a "1" in it.

I have not been able to determine the correct procedure to enable a cache pool from what I have currently.

thanks for any assistance

Bump. Anyone? I'm having the same issue (have one cache disk currently as btrfs, and would like to convert to a pool).  No idea what to do in the GUI.
