Windows Media Center spin-up

Featured Replies

I remember reading somewhere on here that if you use WMC it will spin up all of your hard drives regardless if what you are watching/listening is on it.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks in advance :)

Ahh, I don't think that is the problem that I have.

I think that WMC stores a file on all of the hard drives and reads it every time I use it. Normally my HD's do not spin up when I am reading files across the network, only in WMC.
