December 24, 201411 yr I just upgraded to 5.06 after having been on 4.7 for the last 3 years or so and have never had a problem previously. Windows recognizes TOWER on the network, but when I try to access it using the any user name that I created, I receive the same "\\TOWER is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource.........." message. According to the WebGUI settings, everything should work properly (SMB set to yes, user shares enabled, etc). I followed the instructions from http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrade_Instructions to the T. I noticed that the new interface no longer has a section to allow specific users to access a specific share. Could I be missing this function? Could I not be using proper syntax when inputting my username and password? I've tried tower\username in the user name field I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate Please help!!!
December 24, 201411 yr You'll need to delete all users and re-add them on unRAID. Also delete any saved credentials in the Windows Credentials Control Panel. The user root is no longer allowed share access.
