December 25, 201411 yr Hi, as the topic suggests, there is so much info a lot of it being old, really would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right directions to get me setup. I'd like to try downsizing my current server and htpc into 1, the server is an old 775 celron, while the htpc is an i3 4130 on an asus h87pro. I'd really like to try combining the 2 of these. As well as some other apps, sickbeard etc, which i see you can do with these containers. Current htpc is running win7 wmc and kodi. But happy to go with something like the kodibuntu. But still need a windows vm at least accessible from main pc, if not from tv. Just really need some good guides for someone who's never used xen/kvm or docker before. Only visualization I've used it vmware on windows Thanks for any pointers links etc that will give me the correct info
December 28, 201411 yr Don't think you are going to be able to get those processors to support a Windows VM. smdion has a good docker guide.
