Request: Change to "Create-Container" pop-up.

Some containers need extra arguments (Eg: --device /dev/blaa:/dev/blaa or --cpuset=x,y). Just like you explain in your topic:

As you know these currently have to be added prior to the "Repository" field.

Would it be possible of a new field (even under "Advanced Mode") called Extra Arguments of something?

Thanks,

The Capt.

CPU pinning and memory limits are planned as options but device mappings are not part of the next release plan. Need more time to test and experiment with those. Can you give an example of where --device would be useful?

jonp, can you give us a progress report on the new docker UI ?  Will we be able to use it soon ? :)

Working TV headed docker with my dvb-t adapter being passed through to Docker container.  See this topic and replies:

Would also open up things like a cups docker etc.

Thanks!

For now before the next release, please just add an extra parameters field that can be filled in as seen fit by the advanced users. That would be a decent catch all without having to abuse the repository field.

I think that's fine.

Hmm.  Interesting... Will read this later.

Is it feasible or possible to have LANG passed through from unraid host to docker containers via the timeplate similar to the way that bind time option is handled ?

the reason i ask is that some containers (flexget, headless kodi, i've noticed, i'm sure there are others) don't handle strange characters in movie names etc.... without LANG being set in the dockerfile.
