I've finally got my array up and running but have an annoying issue where I can only assign drives to even numbers. Every odd slot is just greyed out.

 

 

 

This persists even after I start the array. So instead of one neat list, I get this:

 

 

 

Is there any way I can use the odd numbers?

Have you actually tried to assign the disks?  Alternate lines having a grey background is standard to help improve readability of the GUI.

You have posted in the unRAID 6 Support forum. That doesn't look like the webGUI of unRAID 6. What version is it?

 

Hope I am not being too obvious here. Are you sure the grey actually means greyed "out". Have you tried clicking on the "unassigned" dropdown? If you have already assigned all of your drives to the "white" ones there may not be any drive to select. Try unassigning one of the other drives and see if you can select it in one of the grey spots.

Thanks trurl. Now I feel foolish I had not unassigned the drives. Now that I have I can move them into the even numbers.
