Don't keep it a secret  :)

Thanks, I haven't messed with docker yet. Guess it's a good time to start.

There are 2 different dropbox dockers http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=37958.0, and probably more at hub.docker.com

I have tried those dockers - both are very broken.

Every time you start the docker, you will need to re-approve the machine with Dropbox. So after a few restarts and re-approvals you will end up with just as many "different" machines approved on your Dropbox account that you will need to delete to clean up.

And in particular the gfjardim one will randomly launch a second dropbox process after a few days. You will start seeing many dropbox "file updates" across all your systems and the cpu usage on the unraid server will skyrocket until you kill the second dropbox instance or restart the docker.

The docker besides being broken in these ways, does not tell you the status of dropbox as the plugin does.

Dockers are a cool idea and all, but without a status page or some way to know what it is doing beyond a log file, they are a massive step back in usefulness.
