ummm, ok, I should have added "screen" before the "-a", of course...I just did that and while it doesn't look like any other old telnet session now, I assume it is now behaving differently? I invoked "rsync -avPX /mnt/disk12/ /mnt/disk11/", so will this be enough to make this session persistent in the background, until it is finished, even if I close this telnet session?

Yes if you can close the telnet window now When you reconnect to unRAID type screen -r to resume the session and type exit when your done.

There is a missing library in the latest update to mediainfo.

mediainfo: error while loading shared libraries: libzen.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I would think something like that (with probably a million dependencies) is better suited to a docker app, and there are two available within the apps tab)

Refresh the Nerdpack page or click on Check for Updates and they should show up. Also you'll need Perl for irssi.

If you look at the slackbuild it will give you an idea of what you need. https://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.2/multimedia/ffmpeg/. You can also install it and run it. You'll get an error telling you what your missing. Then download and install the package with that missing library and try again. Keep going till you get them all and it runs clean.

I know I can install package by put it to /boot/extra but I need to reboot. Is there  any to install without reboot?

No need to reboot. use installpkg and removepkg.  But maybe there's a docker that would do want you need.

I tried jrottenberg/ffmpeg but it outputs error after I started it ?‍♂️

It took me 10 minutes to figure out why screen was not available even though I installed this plugin, even though the web GUI said "up to date" it wasn't actually downloaded.

Yeah I figured out that the on-off rocker switch is to mark the package for installation. Not very intuitive IMO
