Trying to get Asset UPNP working in Unraid 6

As I learned from the Asset UPNP forum the Debian version can also work in unraid.

 

The problems are that according to the install instructions it needs to be installed in user/bin. It can be installed on the cache drive but still uses usr/bin for its config and database files. Is there a way around this, so it will survive a reboot?
