I looked under Network and didn't see anything, i have network discovery on, but most file sharing off, don't want to share from my pc, but i tried it with everything on just to see if i could see shares, but nothing was there.

ok, i got it.  i had to match the password for the user to the windows password, i also changed the workgroup to match and it showed up.  now though i have the two shares i've created so far, plus all the drives are showing up.  is it just supposed to be the shares?  can it be configured that way?
