January 14, 201511 yr Hi Guys have been running unraid 5.5 for some time now with 4 Drives and mainly using it for PLEX and storage. Was brilliant for first year or so but now more have my household is using PLEX keep getting complaints about buffering etc. So was looking to move UNRAID over to a more powerful rackmounted unit. I would have just got the HP gen8 but I already have a wall mounted rack cabinet with plenty of space so might as well take the chance to tidy a few things up. Problem I have is I dont want to go overkill and all parts need to be availble from UK suppliers I was looking at the Norco case but UK stock is hard to come by and really not sure about which CPU to go with Intel i7 4770k is a decent price and should do the job nicely or would going with a Xeon be the way to go? As far as bays go I currently have 4 drives with 2 more still in a box along with a 256SSD which I was planing to use for cache. 12 Bay hot swap would be ideal so plenty scope to expand later. Any tips and links would be really appreciated TIA

Is no one selling a full ready made solution I can just plug and play?
