January 18, 201511 yr I am having an issue where my included and excluded disks for a share are incorrect. I noticed this while attempting to create a new time machine share, and it was telling me I only had 136GB of free space left even though I tried to set it to use disk3 only which had well over 2TB. In the webgui, when I click to change the included/excluded disk it displays a blank box with no options (tried clearing cache which did not help). See screenshot #1 I examined my directories through the WebGUI and they do not seem what they should be (most shares should be using all disks including cache). See screenshot #2 To try and remedy the problem I tried editing the TimeMachine.cfg share configuration file and edited it to include "disk3". I am unsure of where to look next and any advice would be appreciated.
January 18, 201511 yr On screenshot #2, the location of the shares doesn't mean where its able to store the data. It means where the data is currently stored. That can/will change depending upon your split levels. No idea with it not populating the list on screen shot 1. Maybe try rebooting the server? Also, the way that I understand it is that the include / exclude options only affect new files being written. If a file already exists on disk 1 (where your time machine backup currently is), then all overwrites will go back to disk 1
January 18, 201511 yr Author Thanks, that is good to know. I can't figure out why the dropdown isn't populating either. I deleted my Time machine share and am re-adding it but it still doesn't populate. Rebooting doesn't change anything. Through the CLI would the correct way be to edit the SHARE_NAME.cfg and add "disk3" to the included list? Would i have to add "disk1,disk2" to the excluded list?
January 20, 201511 yr I am getting this too. I just changed my Parity drive out and put my old Parity drive into the data array. When going to my Movies, TV Series, Pictures etc shares it has no option to include disks. Its blank like the OP's picture, with just "Close" in it. I noticed it didn't have drives in the drop down before the swap. Just never had a new drive to bother changing included/excluded disks options to notice. Wondering if there is a file I can manually edit or delete to reset it. Got a ton of files waiting to be tranfered and can't. Edit: Global Share Policies does still have the dropdown if that makes any difference debugging. Came from version 5. Maybe a conflicting file? -Running- unRaid 6.12 Latest plex OpenVPN APC Daemon Powerdown
January 21, 201511 yr As a temp fix I went to (flash drive)/config/shares and edited the share I wanted and where it said "disks included" I just added a ",disk" then w/e the number it is. no spaces. Like this "disk1,disk2,disk3". Hope this helps until the problem is found. Just used notepad to edit it.
January 21, 201511 yr Anyone else experience this? How does your settings under "Global Share Settings" look like ? In there any inclusion or exclusion of disks ?

My Global Share settings are set to Include "All" and Exclude "None". This menu provides the dropdown menu as expected and I am able to include specific disks.

I started with 6b11a then updated to 6b12. Wonder if that may be involved. Afourd, is yours a fresh install of 6b12 or an upgrade?
