Hi all,

I have just started using Docker and currently have plex and sickbeard running and I am wondering is there anything I should be doing in sequence when I am restarting my server? i.e. should I stop each plugin, stop docker and then reboot? What is the best practice? I am running unRAID 6 beta 12.

 

I am wondering about this due to an issue I had today where docker would not start after a reboot (it was saying it was already running and I could not figure out how to stop it via command line) and I ended up deleting the docker image and having to setup my apps again, luckily all the settings were retained and so it was pretty painless.

I stop my Dockers manually before stopping the array. This gives an opportunity to make sure none of my Dockers are in the middle of array disk activities that I would like to let complete or explicitly pause (when possible so it can be resumed later) before stopping the array.

 

I would like to know what unRAID does by default, but expect I will continue with my current process whenever possible.
