January 27, 201511 yr And during this time, you can't access array via windows explorer. Sickbeard doesn't start either. Please see attached log syslog-2015-01-27_1.txt
January 27, 201511 yr I noticed that your Dynamix Plugin Control plugin is in the wrong location on your flash drive. It should be located in /boot/config/plugins, not /boot/plugins. Not sure if this is causing you any issues, but it is preventing that plugin from installing. Jan 27 05:40:42 Allan logger: Installing system plugins Jan 27 05:40:42 Allan logger: installing plugin: dynamix.plugin.control-2.1.1-noarch-bergware Jan 27 05:40:42 Allan logger: file /tmp/plugin-startup: successfully wrote INLINE file contents Jan 27 05:40:42 Allan logger: /bin/bash /tmp/plugin-startup ... missing Dynamix webGui plugin !!! Jan 27 05:40:42 Allan logger: failed The log indicates that Sickbeard is installing without errors. If you go to the unRaid WebGui Settings page, can you bring up the config page for the Sickbeard plugin? Can you start Sickbeard from there?
January 28, 201511 yr Author after changing dynamix plugin control location, still, it takes a long time to get sickbeard and array working. They will eventually. During this time, array folders are not accessible, unraid webgui also not accessible. Only unmenu works. Though Sabnzbd, couchpotato and Plex starts immediately. syslog-2015-01-28.txt
January 28, 201511 yr Author And here's another attachment that shows how long it takes to start sickbeard syslog-2015-01-28_1.txt
January 28, 201511 yr And here's another attachment that shows how long it takes to start sickbeard Not sure from this what you think the problem is. That entire syslog is only 17 seconds long. Sickbeard is last to load because plugins are done in alphabetical order.
January 28, 201511 yr Trurl, There is actually a 16 minute gap between when SABnzbd starts, and the next line when SickBeard starts and the array SMB service begins. Jang430, What plugins are you using for SABnzbd and SickBeard? Are you using the latest plugin versions from Phaze? http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=33341.0 I would suggest replacing your SABnzbd and SickBeard plugins with the Phaze versions.
January 28, 201511 yr Trurl, There is actually a 16 minute gap between when SABnzbd starts, and the next line when SickBeard starts and the array SMB service begins... Sorry, you're right. Looked at too many syslogs this morning.
January 29, 201511 yr Author Hi. I use sabnzbd, sickbeard, couchpotato, plexmediaserver, and dynamix. Except for dynamix, all are phaze's plugin, latest, but Use BETA release:No. That's it.
January 29, 201511 yr Can you post a screenshot of the unRaid webGui settings page for both Sickbeard and SABnzbd? Maybe there is something in the configuration that is causing your problems.
January 29, 201511 yr Author Please disregard that sabnzbd is stopped. It's working. I just stopped the service. This system has 4 GB. Does this have anything to do with number of queued downloads in sabnzbd? Does it do any processing upon startup of sabnzbd?
January 29, 201511 yr A couple of suggestions: [*] Try updating the plugins, they both show an update is available. [*] On the SABnzbd settings, you could try disabling "Show storage memory usage". You SABnzbd config directory is quite large (27 GB). Maybe the size is being calculated during boot up and resulting in the delay? Note: I had to disable the "Show storage memory usage" option in my Plex plugin config because of the large size of my Plex database (40 GB) because it was resulting in slow load times of the webGUI settings page. See 4th bullet in the Notes section here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=33341.msg306949#msg306949
January 29, 201511 yr Author Hello Jevans04, Thank you for the reply. The update was just showed yesterday before I took the screenshot. Before that, it was updated to the latest, and had the same problem. As for the 2nd suggestion, I've read that somewhere. But I thought the delay that it is causing is in showing of configuration settings of sabnzbd at unraid webgui page? But I'll try it anyway.
January 31, 201511 yr Author jevans04, my sab config directory is huge since completed and incomplete downloads are both in that location. If I were to move it into another folder, which makes my config directory small, do you think it will speed up the boot up time? Will sab not have to process it anyway even if it's not on the same folder as it's config files? Or is it because I have a lot on queue, and incompleted files, that it has to check?
