Preclear Report Check Please.

Featured Replies

This drive was installed in my Media Server, used for recording TV shows, probably early 2010.

The 12-12-2009 at the end of the file name is the date I purchased it.

Back in september I had an issue with a Red Balled drive.

I checked the smart report and all was good.

I ran the short test and still good.

I did a file system check from unMenu and it was good as well.

I checked and replaced SATA cables.

I checked power cables.

I uploaded the report here and no one could find any issues.

Finally I replaced the drive, rebuilt it and was back running again.

I just got around to doing a preclear on it, on a different server, and it still looks good to me but before I put it back in service I figured if someone more familiar with these reports could look at it I would appreciate it. To me it looks as good as a new drive I precleared a month ago but I'm not an expert.

I copy and pasted the beginning and end for this from Telnet.

Thanks

Russ

Looks OK.

For future reference, there is a thread already dedicated to answering these questions here.

Also, the preclear script writes logs to your flash drive and that is the preferred format for posting them rather than capturing your telnet session.
