Any way to send WOL to local LAN from Unraid?

I'd like to be able to send a WOL packet to another PC on my local network from my unraid server, is anyone aware of a plugin or docker that could enable this?

Don't know of a GUI solution, but perhaps this might provide the functionality.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/wake-on-lan/files/

May or may not work, I've not tested it, but it looks promising.

Here's the project page

http://sourceforge.net/projects/slackers/files/etherwake/

And a direct link to latest 64bit for unRAID 6

http://sourceforge.net/settings/mirror_choices?projectname=slackers&filename=etherwake/etherwake-1.09-x86_64-5cf.txz

Install the package then run from the command-line with the mac of the computer you want to wake.

etherwake 00:11:22:33:44:55

I could make a plugin easily so you could add several computers to a list. I may just do that anyway.

That would be amazing! I am able to openvpn into my server from anywhere, but my router will not play nice with WOL packets, a plugin with a gui list is exactly what I'm looking for!

Dunno if your aware of it but it is a wol button inside the kodi module in Htpc Manager. I don't know if your still using it, thought I should mention it.

Sorry to necro this thread but is there an option (or a docker image) for this now? My desktop is always sleeping but my unraid server is always online, so it would be nice to wake up my desktop so I can remote in when I am outside, either WOL via an web interface accessible over the internet or vpn in.

edit: found and used this worked fine!
