Automatic update is enabled ?

Along with that plex doesn't see anything in my music directory.

I migrated away from Qnap using a Win Plex server, and just Qnap as a file server.

Upgraded to Unraid Monster machine to increase capacity and offload plex since its a Xenon machine.

I used all-sync to migrate the files to the shares on Unraid.

Plex saw everthing up to about 1 month ago.. now the files are there in the share, but plex isn't picking up the additions.

I have the updates set to 15 mins and to scan upon any changes ? set on the server.

You don't have to install it. Put that script in your config directory and in the Sonarr settings (under General - make sure advanced settings are enabled) point to that as it appears to the container. Here is how I have it set:

Ok did that, now how do I update it?

After you have that script in place, go to About -> Updates and install the latest update. That script, from what I've read, prevents the docket image from bloating.

First off, Thanks for the great Dockers.

I am using the DelugeVPN docker, I used to be a rTorrent\ruTorrent user, I have it installed and behaving mostly how I like. The VPN handling seems very robust. The issue I am having is getting torrents to automatically remove. I want to have torrents and their data removed after they hit a seed ration. I installed "AutoRemovePlus-0.4-py2.7.egg" and after some fiddling it seemed to start working, a torrent was autoremoved, as was it's data. But it has stopped working again. It has appeared in my config/plugins folder, it is set to delete after 2 days seed time and a Ratio of 1.2, but nothing happens. The torrent just stays in the deluge interface and the files stay in place.

I also tried to install the "Stats-0.4.0-py2.7.egg" plugin and it doesn't do anything.

I have also noticed that after a restart the "Autoadd .torrent files from:" box will untick itself, and the "OK" button doesn't work in all the screens.

Any suggestions, I thought it might have been a permission issue on the downloads folders, but ran chmod 777 on them and it still won't work.

Thanks,

Beau

I am having this exact same issue.  I even went so far as to delete my docker and start over since I thought it could be related to my upgrade to 6.0 release.  Anxious for a fix

Sickrage has stopped working for me after updating the docker to the latest. The webUI won't load and I'm having trouble figuring out what's wrong.

I am having a strange issue with BinHex's docker (the non-VPN version). When I originally installed deluge, I had some issues in my config and data paths (I am still learning). After getting some help - I now understand what I am doing (mostly).  :)

The thing is, even after deleting deluge and reinstalling I keep getting an error that involves permissions and/or the download path. Under the "details tab" in the Deluge client, it says:

Path: /mnt/user/Torrents/working

Status: Permission denied: /mnt/user/Torrents/working/TORRENT_NAME

Like I said, that is OLD prefs/config information. My prefs for the download location on the client just points to "/data" and when I configure the docker, I set "/data" to "/mnt/user".

Really stumped. Is there a way to ensure there is no old config, preference or other data around so I can start totally clean?

Many thanks!!

Remove the container and image. Find the files it put on your unRAID and delete them. This will depend on whatever host paths you have used when you were trying to get it working. Then start over with it.

I deleted deluge again - rebooted the server - exact same error.

Deluge is trying to push the torrent file to a directory called "working" which does not exist. Even if I create it - it gets the same error.

I have to manually delete tons of files when I uninstall deluge. That does not seem right?

I just deleted it again - cleaned up - then installed the "other" deluge (not the VPN one - the other one). Exact same error.

Really baffled.

I was going to make the transition to Usenet - that may happen sooner rather than later.  ;)

I'm a bit confused as to what you're doing here.

If you set /data to /mnt/user in the docker config, then /data inside the docker points to the roof of your user shares, but not to an actual share, i.e. it doesn't actually point anywhere.

if you just set /data as the download location, it doesn't have anywhere to actually put the file.  I suspect/Deluge/torrents is the default loaction Deluge tries if no location is specified (just a guess).

I suggest you point /data to an actual location in the Deluge config; something like /mnt/user/download (or some other similar user share).  Then /data in the docker will actually point to something available.

if this doesn't work, please post screenshots of the docker config and deluge settings.

Is anyone else having issues with plugin's in deluge? Can I supply any more details to help diagnose? Would love to get this sorted.

Thanks,

Beau

Thanks,

Beau

Hi Justin,

Many thanks for your help. I am probably doing something wrong and have been reading the Docker FAQ where you and Squid discuss new users getting confused on the "container volume" versus "host path". I think I get it now but did not when I originally installed the deluge docker. I think there is some cruft left over someplace from an early install attempt.

I will take and post some screen shots when I get home. It would be great if you can help me figure out what I am doing wrong...Thanks!

I'm not sure if this helps, I don't use deluge, but I'm new to dockers too.  I had a similar issue I think when I was setting up SAB with a docker, it takes some getting used to after plugins, but I got there in the end.

I had volume mapping app to host set like this /tempdownloads > /mnt/cache/.apps/temp/ for a temp downloads folder and in the actual SAB settings I mave set /tempdownloads/incomplete for the incomplete folder under /tempdownloads.  In my head I saw it as a link or a shortcut.

I also ran the new permissions tool just for my cache to sort a few permissions issues I was having.  Seemed to work ok.

Hi folks,

Well I got home, did the exact same thing I was doing yesterday to get my screen shots captured and then posted and then much to my (pleasant) surprise - everything worked fine. I am 99% sure I did not do anything differently and I am not going to worry about it too much.

I did notice that the owner/grpof the deluge directory was now being set to nobody and users. Yesterday it was setting owner to root. So maybe that was it? I have no idea...

I had the same thing happen with Crashplan. I was (as far as I can tell) doing everything right but it would not work. Then CHBMB helped me and it magically went away.

If it happens again, I will be a bot freaked.

Thanks all for your help. Now I have to decide the next docker...I think I am going to go back to my old stomping grounds from the 80's and 90's and give usenet a try. Thanks!

Dave

Hello,

A week or two ago my docker image went bad and today I created a new one.  Fortunately I was able to use the MY-xxxx templates to get them back.  I'm now struggling with delugevpn however and seeing the following info in the log.  Not sure why it's saying it can't assign the requested address.

fyi, incase anyone else comes across NZBGet script issues with binhex's docker try switching the python version in the first line of your python script, as most scripts aren't updated to python 3 yet.

Hoping for a bit of help.

I have DelugeVPN running when VPN=No but turning it on causes it all to fail.

I'm with Purevpn (paid for two years so can't change) so my first question is 'while DelugeVPN work with Purevpn'?

I authenticate with a username and password only.

I have set VPN_PROV=custom

I have open all the ports and run an openvpn server (turned off while I'm trying this, to avoid conflict)

Disabled windows firewall and routers.

Here is a copy of the log where is goes wrong.

I"m having an issue where MadSonic in the latest updated container version keeps resetting the UrlRedirectContextPath property to blank when I restart the container. Then I can no longer use the nginx reverse proxy to get to it. I searched over on their forums and here and couldn't find a reason as to why.

Hopefully final question on Deluge....everything is working fine. Just one nit.

I have my volume mapping as follows: data <--> /mnt/user

In my Deluge UI prefs, I have the following:

Download to: /data/Torrents/working      NOT WORKING, putting downloading torrent in /data

Move completed to: /data/Torrents/torrents            WORKING FINE

Copy of .torrent file to: /data/Torrents/done            WORKING FINE

Any ideas? I attach screenshots - Thanks!

Is the working folder present?  Not sure if Deluge will create it if it isn't present and remember Linux is case sensitive.

you can't put anything in /data by itself.  it's not a folder or a usable location on unRAID.  it's the root of your user shares.

You have to put /data/SOMEPLACE

if SOMEPLACE does not exist, I think it will get created, but this is probably not what you want either.  You probably want to put it onto a user share; something like Movies or Music or TV or Downloads.

In this case you'd put /data /mnt/user/Movies or /mnt/user/Music or /mnt/user/Downloads.
