Getting ready to bite the bullet and I am probably over analyzing but I can't figure out the difference between these two motherboards

 

Both super micro:  X10SRL-F and X10SRI-F

 

20 dollar difference and I know one has 350 intel nic over 210 but don't see anything else that would push me from one to the other. Any thoughts??

They are indeed very similar boards.

 

The X10SRI-F has a PCIe x16 slot;  the X10SRL-F doesn't have any slots that run faster than x8.

 

Other than that, the only difference I see is that the X10SRL-F has an extra expansion slot; and the difference in the NICs that you already mentioned.  The i350AM2 is a higher-performance NIC than the i210, supporting 8 TX and RX queues per port (compared to 4 for the i210) and drawing significantly less power (470mw vs 740mw for the i210).

 

From an UnRAID performance perspective, the boards should be identical.
